Damn you Troy Lee...my old size 40 GP pants were roomy and probably a 42 in reality with Velcro on both sides of the waist that suited my pear-shaped abdomen perfectly.

I bought some new cool looking TLD cosmic camo pants in a 40 and these have been redesigned; they are preettty snug in the butt and the waist is about as dicey a fit as you can get.

All the size 40 or 42 pants seem to be black or boring blue.

I will switch from IPA to lite beer but in the interim does anybody know of some decent pants in 42 that aren’t black, aren’t made for a giraffe (I’m 5’10”) and don’t look like they came from Wal-Mart (eg. cheap looking).

There must be a million old guys like me with the same issue - all the cool colorways only go up to size 36 or so.

Thanks.

Fasthouse has red in size 38 for sure. I don't remember what they went up to when I ordered mine. they do have a waist adjustment. I'd guess up to 40 down to 36 with adjustment. I like they way they fit.

Im in the same boat as you. Basically TLD is the only company for us "girthier" guys, but I do admit black gets boring.

i wear Alpinestars. 260 lbs, pants fit pretty good. waist is fine, knee area a little baggy. i believe they are size 38.

definately like them a bit better than shift, after rides and washes they look in better shape than any of my Shift gear did with the same hours

Thor usually go up to 42 in a few of their ranges and have a variety of colourways. I’ve never had a problem with the quality of their gear and the fit is A1 in the bigger sizes. I think Oneal also cater to bigger sizes in a range of colours but I’ve never had a set to offer comment on the durability of the gear.

Oops, I didn't understand the meme about racism but it just hit me that my post title could be construed that way. We don't have as big of an issue with that stuff up here (at least I don't think we do)...but I DGAF.

Funny thing is I am looking for "pants of color".

Not racist, just a funny example of the perils of the English language.
