I’m heading over there Sat morning. What time are you shooting for getting there? I don’t want to get stuck n a big line and would love to see some morning practice. Looks like perfect weather

Is the typical main entry gate off the 76 the only entry for general parking?

I'm on the fence....have a ticket but it's just so easy to watch in the garage while working on bikes...I'll be more productive at home but the weather is going to be perfect so I can't decide.

Not sure how many they let in the Main Gate that is used week in and week out but they have, at the last two nationals ran you a little past there they split you off into two additional areas, upper and lower.

I’ll be there bright and early for a full day of live moto

If anyone wants to meet up for beer or two check back on this post the day of

See you there

I’ll be there also.
Shoot me a text and we’ll catch up.
Should be great racing, especially the 250’s.

I'd give my left nut to be able go to a National. Especially the first one of the season.
How far away is Hollow Barrels to Pala anyway.

I'm only about 1.5hrs away. Actually had a VIP ticket given to me which would have made it really nice but I'm giving it to someone else. I have been to tons of Nationals over the last 20 years so I decided to stay home this weekend and try to finish two project bikes I'm working on. The race will be on in my garage with cold Modelos in the fridge.

What’s the traffic situation? Never been to Pala for a National. Heard traffic is terrible. Live an hour away how much time should buffer in for traffic? Cheers!

It’s not terrible. They have law enforcement directing traffic and it flows somewhat decent. It’s two lanes in every direction so it tends to back up a bit and really can’t be avoided. I live in Temecula across Pechanga Casino and take that road all the way down. 2 years ago it took me like 40 mins to get to the National and usually it only takes like 15-20 minutes.

If I remember correctly, we got there right before the first 250 Moto started. To be honest, I live close by and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I couldn’t get a good view of the track at all.
