Anyone ever repair the oil feed nipple on the carb. Lil man was riding in the yard and had a tipover and his boot must have hit it perfectly and broke off flush at the carb. I did get the remaining peice of fitting out with an easy out. There's no parts replacement in the oem parts. Might try to fab a replacement out of a brass barbed fitting. There is a video on youtube and that's what was done. Are there direct replacement fittings anyone knows of? Any suggestions?

Spend $80 and get a new Yamaha carb, not aftermarket junk.

You have a picture? I think I fashioned something like this on our mini adventure to keep running the oil injection but using a Sr carb.

Did some Improvising. Started out with a brass screw and ended up with an oil injector nozzle. Not quite perfect, i couldn't get the barbs quite like the old one with a drill and file but i think we'll give a try and just keep an eye on it.

I don't use the oil injector on my son's bike. Blocked it off and mix gas. Dont need to worry about it not mixing oil and gas. Only need the oil injector to work for AMA sanctioned events. https://pwonly.com/product/pw50-oil-injector-block-off-plug/
I’ve been on the site a lot lately, I have 2 pw’s, but I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about pwsonly.com lately about parts not showing up after they’ve been ordered so I’ve been afraid to order from there, but I’ve been having a tough time finding parts otherwise. Anyone have another option?

if not racing (lots of classes/events, not running the injector is illegal), do a blockoff and premix. much better results.

this gets wedged in to plug the old injector pump

then get a 1 piece throttle cable since the pump is eliminated. much better throttle feel

new for both of those is $60, i have a brand new never used pair of the two above parts i can send anyone for $40 shipped if interested.

You've got skills like this and came to Vital for advice on how to fix it?

I'm with the rest though. Just premix it and forget the pump if you're not racing LL type races.

I was hoping there was a plug and play option rather than having to fab something up. What oil ratio is everyone running in the pw?

Pop that little plug out so you can adjust the air screw. Your repair looks good to me. I mean ,they are a dang moped engine. And I have used those China carbs on PW's. They work / run OK.
