How far is the commute to find a good paying job and what's the year around weather like there?

Meanwhile, I live in a track home in California that is ridiculously overpriced. I have the biggest lot on my block at 1/4 acre, which half of it is the hill behind my house.

Beautiful place, I would love to wake up to that every morning ! Being far away from all my family who live in California, would be the biggest drawback.

Oh man, I love this. Been looking for something similar here in GA but my job requires me to work downtown Atlanta, but finding something that isn't a killer commute is impossible.

Lol...Yeah you could be 1 mile away from your destination in DT ATL and that might equate to 1 hour of inching along.

Place looks amazing!!

Won't housing prices decline when the "Death Boom" kicks off around 2025 and Boomers start retiring and dropping like flies? The "Death Boom" should start roughly 70 years after the baby boom.

We are losing population where I live and hopefully decreased demand for housing will lower values and prices.
