77 Penton GS6 250 (very rare) - $3500 (Marietta
Pentons were only around from 67 to 77. In 78 they became KTM. This is an extremely rare bike. I originally planned on racing it in AHRMA, but it's much for suited for a full restoration or for a collection. The engine runs well, but the clutch needs to be rebuilt. The speedometer was removed and electrics were in unhooked for racing. Unfortunately, I lost the speedo, but that part is easy to find on EBay. This is a true survivor. If you are interested in restoring old bikes or starting a collection, this is a great option. These things have really jumped in price. A 78 KTM just sold for 10 grand at the Mecum auction.

Nice looking Penton. Did you get the model with 7 neutrals? (slight sarcasm, knowing the early Sachs engines were known for mis-shifts)

Neutral was very easy to find at all times
