What are you asking? Seems like he's signing some old team stuff for a fan, no?

How did pro circuit get started? I remembered thinking it involved huskies, but I don't remember the details.
He bought Anaheim Husqvarna.

Mitch hand ported my '74 Husky 250 that I rode for a shop in Houston back then. One of the techs there was from SoCal and knew Mitch, and sent the cylinder and head to him to do "works porting" on the cylinder and mill the head to what the team guys were riding. Turned out that it was a rocket...much better a bike than I was a rider, unfortunately. It was as fast as any of the Honda Elsinores that were flooding the tracks back then...just nowhere near as reliable.

Ah, an Andy pic! That dude could destroy a bike in an afternoon! Laguna Beach's Mike Brown (from Al Baker's shop) still regales us with tales of Andy's exploits.

I don't MAVtv but I have always admired Dave Despain and his true love of all things motorsports.

Listening to that Mitch Payton interview I learned a lot about Mitch. Great interview. After that I clicked on the Jeff Ward and Jeff Emig interviews. Dave is really good at getting the good and that bad out of these guys but being very professional about it. I really enjoyed them all.

etccb, thanks for the link.
