Yep. This is the one. I say championship if he can mature as a rider real quick.

If Osborne wins a few motos and gets it in his head that he belongs up front, he'll be a thorn in Tomac's side. Same with Baggett. If those guys can beat Eli early and often enough, they'll take the title away from him.

Dean Ferris is my pick for the Dark Horse.
Was it confirmed Ferris is in for the whole series (barring injury)? Would that mean Yamaha would run 3 bikes if AP23 makes it back? I heard on the Racerx.com preview show Plessinger could be back in a few weeks and they discussed Ferris as a "fill in". Sorry if this was addressed somewhere else.

Hunter lawrence, also fellow aussie and current points leader wilson todd is racing the first 2 rounds in the 250's. This is a guy who has battled with evans & beaton (mxgp) all throughot his career.

How is a guy who finished 3rd in his rookie outdoor season, and 2nd in his rookie SX season considered a "dark horse?" The dude is a legit title threat from round one.

For the 250s, I agree with the guys who said Hampshire. He came on strong at the end last year, and seeing what he did at the USGP, I'd say he's a threat to win Florida.

Dark horse

a candidate or competitor about whom little is known but who unexpectedly wins or succeeds.
"a Gloucester side that could be a dark horse for the title"

I want to see Deano and Hill battle it out for the top step. Then, on the last lap right after the finish line, Hill ghostrides his bike into haybales which catch fire immediately. He then grabs his guitar and starts playing and singing. All the spectators grab each others by the hands and make a huge circle around Hill. Then Adam Enticknap, who finished right behind Deano in 3rd chimes into the song with a heart touching, motivating verse about success, determination and never giving up. Then Deano opens up the Husky rig, and all the Bilzerian's chicks fall out of it. Aliens then land their flying saucers right in that man-made circle and join the party. Everyone is happy, tears of joy are falling down human and alien faces, Hill is drinking from his trophy, then continues to sing his tune with 722 alongside. No more hunger in the world, all the problems solved, everyone's happy.
WTF did I just do? So much for a productive morning in the office.
