I do believe you are correct. I think their rule is full faced only.

The AMA ruins all the fun.

1.18 Riders Apparel
a. Riders must wear helmets at all times when riding on course.
b. Helmets must be of the full-face type and conform to one of the following recognized standards.
The helmet must have a label affixed certifying its approval.
1. USA: Snell M 2005 or M 2010 or DOT FMVSS 218
2. UNITED NATIONS: Regulation ECE 2205 P'
3. UK: BSI 6658 Type A
4. Japan: JIS T 8133:2
c. All helmets used by riders in competition must be equipped with the Eject® Helmet Removal
System (formerly Hats Off). Riders will be responsible for ensuring that the device is properly
installed and operable during all on track activities. Helmet removal devices and installation
information are available from technical inspection at all AMA Supercross an FIM World
Championship events.
d. Face shields or goggles must be shatter resistant. Goggles must be worn at the start of each
event.

Yeah no crap, culd you imagine me out there open faced helmet, with a scott venturi face guard, which I have, or better yet none at all that way you can see my sweet beard and have my tongue hanging out the whole time.

Then on top of that I am wearing a wife beater and jeans, with my ass crack hanging out, no gloves, wearing walmart work boots.

I do remember a guy wearing and open face helmet at the Troy nationals a few years back so ????? love open face also but not worth the risk,depending on how you look to start with!!

Yeah I remember him wearing one, another really fast ohio guy wore one too, I think Steven Richards, but I would wear one if I was allowed, but not the one I have now, not at a SX, that is scary!

I actually have not ate at KFC for a long time, lol.

I am trying to cut out fast food, but its hard when thats all thats around my work, and I forget or dont have time to pack a good lunch 75% off the time!

If you get the hole shot mike. pull directly off teh track and start cheering like you won the whole show...... believe me they will focus on it and will be the most exposure you can get.....then take off and finish the race.

mainly have fun and stay up. to bad it's not a mud race LOL but indoors well the "great equalizer" mud can't happen...........
