I don't think there is anything that is going to slow Osborne down other than himself. Dude has been a tank for the last couple of years. Can't wait for him to move up and see what he has for the 450 class. He's got the mentality that seems like it would compete well with Tomac. I'd love to see if he has the speed to keep up with him.
The Shop
I hope he can defy that trend.
Good times
Martin Davalos turned 31 this year and he was competitive on the 450 last year. Still a front runner in SX.
Justin Brayton is 34 and won an SX race just this year and Osborne is a better rider than him.
Brett Metcalfe was still competitive late in his US career and he'll be 34 this year.
John Dowd.
Zach turns 30 in September 2019.
Personally I don't think he'll struggle to adapt to the bigger bike and I think we'll see him upfront in 2019.
Tomac will be turning 26 this November so for all we know he could sign his last contract this year and call it a career after 2020.
Pit Row
Personally I think he'll do better than what Webb has shows thus far.
I don't think he will be one of those guys who struggles to adapt to the 450. By the time A1 2019 comes around, he will most likely have pounded out a ridiculous number of laps on a 450 practice racing against Marvin.
I also don't like making predictions like he's going to be a champion immediately, but I will say it would be cool to see, and I wouldn't be totally surprised. Agreed that age is not on his side, so if he's going to win, he's going to have to pull a Dungey and hit it hard his first year.
