Check out the lap charts from the end of the first two 450 races this season.

Now here's the end of the Las Vegas main in '19.
The riders in squares are lapped riders. There's been a lot made about the strength of the field, and I think this is a pretty good indicator. Only six lapped riders at St. Louis (and a couple that dropped out). Eight lapped riders (and no dropouts) at A1. Compare that to Vegas, where Eli lapped half the field. Sure, it's early, and injuries haven't become a huge factor, but it is something that I'm finding interesting. The depth is there.
