I thought this was pretty cool. Some guys from a BMX group recreated the bike, looked up the wheelie kid (Mark Mandeville) and handed it to him on the street in Capo beach where the wheelie was filmed. Good stuff !
Really cool. Thanks.

Here is the flyer:
Kid can ride- I forgot this scene and always remembered Wardy's wheelie more but this is as cool or better even.
I was crap a wheelies and also natural balance on bike and skills. Even tried a Trails riding bike and really sucked at it.
I had the balls to go reasonably fast and could jump quite well - but remember there were certain kids who were smaller and alot faster who could really balance a bike well and do the wheelies n' stuff. Sure it helped them and really helped them understand the bike and how you balance it etc.
I still not worked it out and probably never will! ahahha
Was the lad doing the impressive wheelie a racer? If he was bet he may have done good.
I had that same bike and wasn’t too shabby at wheelies on it although mine were sitting down much like the opener of Joe Kid on a Stingray
Wheelies on bicycles carried over to,dirt bikes in my twenties and at 53 I can still wheelie most bicycles as well as my dirt scooter
Fun times!
Costs nothing!!
