Nice pics old man. What kind of camera are you shooting with?

I'm feeling a little better about our bet but it's bitter sweet. Tomac could still take it but at least the points are leveled off.

Awesome shots, especially the one with your daughter and The Little Professor. Was GuyB taking a pic of Big Lenny trying to sneak back in?

Good shots. The guy you focused on 500 yards up the ridge................He looks like he's up to no good.
He just looked suspicious.......

It's a cheapy Canon Powershot SX50HS but it takes amazing shots. The shot of GuyB was taken from about 100 yrds away but looks like I'm right there.

I would hate for our little bet to come down to one of the riders getting injured just happy Tomac didn't seriously hurt himself and we should see him back next week in Tenn. At the track I went from having a Killer time to WTF just happened?

Some of the folks in this Forum are still sticking to their Opinion that Tomac rides with abandon but if you watch him he was backing it down and his rear end came around. if he was in aggressive mode he would have been back on the bike and throttling through it. I think (IMHO) that he made the mistake by not riding like he usually does.

Only three points separate us so lets just say "There's alot more racing to go"

On another note, when was the last time you seen Dungey make a mistake? Right, he made one this weekend (Going off the track) so you know he is riding past his comfort level too.

Glad to see Roczen is back in form and should make this 450 Championship a good one to go to and watch all season long.

He was so cool to talk to, like I was talking with my close friends. Whats funny is that we got on the discussion about Pontiac Silverdome on how it took him so long to figure that place out. He talked about how the faces of the jumps were always so rutted up (Because of the soft dirt in Michigan because of the April swing) that he made the mistake of scanning the face for a good line instead of picking a line and going with it all the way through.
He went on to say it kept him from riding smooth (Which is his forte') and being able to feel comfortable hitting the jumps thinking he would catch an edge and send him over the bars.

Said he was staying with friends that live about 30 minutes south of the track and how much he loves Colorado. Continued to say if he could he would live here as well but enjoys visiting his friend.

Good stuff buddy. Hope you had a great time. Love that place. At least you got to talk to Gibby. Every time I was close enough to say something to him he had that picture machine stuck on his face. He just does that to avoid the public...I joke.

Save your penny's man, it is such an awesome experience. Guess I'm lucky to have attended all the events (One time or another) and even helped Tim Coombs (DC brother) at RedBud Back in the 80's (Think it was late 80's?..LOL)

Just good people at all the events that share the same enthusiasm

HAR! Shea has a BF that couldn't make it so don't get the impression that I drag her around and make her take shots with Pro'sGrinning She loves Moto, she has a bike loves to ride. KLX110.

I was talking with my wife that when she grows up and has kids that she will have all these cool pics with her and the Pro's of yesterday hanging on her billiard, Activities room.Laughing

Smartest thing I've heard in the past day. This wasn't a result of pushing too hard.

Thxs Scottie! I sent you the pic with Shea and David Bailey because I know what a fan you are of him.
Such a cool convo we had don't know if it was possible to be an even bigger fan now.

Grant Langston explained it pretty well by saying how the bike dances around through those sections and the rear end just missed a lip to keep it straight and came around.
This is by no means riding over your head. Bacia had the same thing happen to him when Seely was passing him on the outside. Tomac would have been fine if he didn't land it that dug-out part of the track with his Arms extended.
