Out of those four oils I would choose Yamalube, I work at a bike shop we always had good results with Motul 7100, Amsoil not so much

I work at a shop as well. What are you seeing with Amsoil? I run it often with no ill effects.

We’ve seen multiple blow ups with people using amsoil, now I can’t say for certainty because of the owners maintenance habits, if they ever changed a piston, or clean their air filter or whatever it my be, but usually when a customer comes in with a blown motor one of the questions is what oil did you use?

The real question is, do you guys warm the oil up before putting it in, or just pour it in cold straight out of the bottle?

I have ran Delo 15-40 in all of my 2 and 4 strokes for the last decade with great results. Change it often and it will still be cheaper and great oil. I went into my local shop and they had synthetic 15-50 oil for 71.00 per gallon, I can get 3 gallons of Delo for $40 at Costco.

All are fine as long as you change the oil + filter frequently.

Your using Delo 15w-40 as a premix oil for a two stroke? I wouldn't even put that in my weed wacker. Haha Good oil for a 2 stroker tranny though.

Rotella T6 (i.e., Blue bottle from Wal mart) for over 20 years and NEVER a problem. It's a no brainer from a cost/performance perspective. It has the Japanese Engine Oil Standards Implementation Panel (JASO) manufacturers recommended/required certification. It doesn't get any better than that.

A respected engine builder here in Norcal told me to run that in my '13 KX450F (Posey). I put 100 hrs+ on that bike and it looked near perfect when I had it rebuilt (crank, head, piston) for peace of mind. Other than the pitted 2nd gear which the builder says they all need, it didn't need any thing else.

I run it in my '17 KX450F also, but because of the plain bearings and finger followers in the '19 KX450, I decided to switch to Maxima.

Pick one and stick with it, has way more to do with service intervals and checking oil level than the brand, I ran belray, Amsoil, motul and now Ecstar in my 19 rmz

Also do your research on setup for that bike. Might want to look into a different pull rod link and some different offset triple clamps. That bike has plenty of power, good suspension, stable, but it turns like a log truck.

I use Amsoil, have use T4 with no problems, but I do timely maintenance.
