my 16 KX450 takes .9L at filter change... Maxima 530mx is about 15 bucks a liter and the filter is what 3.99 or 4.99 so yeah 15-20 bucks on filter change and 15 on oil change. I change oil every ride and filter every other ride... but I love my motorcycle and don't complain about the cost of owning and riding a modern MX bike.

Where in the hell are you spending 61.49 for a oil change... the dealer???

it costs what I said the recommended oil of Bel-RAy or Motorex is almost $20.00 a liter

As someone picking up their first 4 stroke, to the guys who go 15 hours on a single oil change, how’s your bike holding up? Haha

If you‘re a fast rider and hammer your 250f in deep sand then yes: change your oil every other ride. But other than that do what the manual says.

Changing your oil every ride is a waste of time and money.. and oil!

YZ450 yamalube every 3-4 hours filter every other. I feel better riding knowing the oil is fresh. Pour the “old” oil in my chainsaws. May be wasting money on frequent oil changes but never buy bar oil for the saw! And I run the saw a lot.
