MXoN October 1st Great Britain Matterley Basin

A lot of travelling, especially in the second part of the season. Switching Trentino and Portugal would've been less demanding according to me. Also Sweden - Czech Republic - Belgium - Switzerland would've been better I think, but in general, good calendar, happy to see Águeda back on it.

I know GB have the MXdN, but sad to see no GP round here considering it is always one of the better attended events.

Could be interesting to see how tight the series is when it gets to Charlotte... American riders getting in the mix with GP guys contending for a championship could be even more interesting this year

Ughh, France is the same weekend as the Monaco F1 race this year... I was hoping they'd be on back-to-back weekends so I could hit both...

Another news: Arnaud Tonus returns to the GP-scene, signed a deal with Team WILVO Yamaha.

Just had a look where the Indonesia race is, fuck me it would be easier and quicker to get flights to the top of Mt Everest than getting to this place.

What a fucking joke.

In few years they'll have a round in North Korea.

@ thekenndog: There are planning constraints on the number of large events that can be held annually at Matterley.

No other UK promoter is willing to line Luongo's pockets for a GP.

Really?

I'll have to check it again, but when it was originally announced, I did some research and found plenty of flights to get there. Jakarta, then a flight / ferry(?) to the Island.

Mind you, I'll not be booking remotely early, as 'things' do change with Luongo's schedules. Probably going to Argentina / South America/ Mexico, then the US, with "she who must be obeyed"( or "she who is going to be bamboozled into funding my race watching, for once in her cushy, pampered bloody life")

Thats allot of racing and traveling. Crazy openers 4 4 races all over the world and 1 is only worth it! (Argentina). I dont think you will see the GP guys in allot of pre season races or national championschip because of some many round. That will be a bummer, but understandable. I also would skip the racing outside the GP with so many races and traveling.

Pro tip: A good way to ensure that no US riders show up is to put the USGP smack in the middle of the Supercross season.

I mean to swap dates so it all ties in, why go to that continent twice ? I know there are issues I'm probably not aware of but the schedule is a little all over the place. Wouldn't it be simple to start in the east and work west ? Or vice versa.
