Perhaps a bandwidth issue. In the bottom right hand corner there's a quality control adjuster (4 bars), you may have to set it to the lowest.

Bummer, Last few weeks I had much better luck using iPad to watch practice streams but today the stream is great HD quality on the mac. Might try that link on a ipad or phone and see how it does???
