The crash was pretty bad. They did ad a flagger after that crash. The race was ran pretty good with what they had. Little unorganized, but that’s to be expected. But overall pretty dam fun. Locals were very, very cool. Meet a lot of local races from Oahu. Some are heading to Cali next month to race Loretta Lynn’s qualifier.

They are supposedly tearing down Sam Boyd Stadium once the new NFL stadium is built according to Matthes on one of the Pulp shows a while back. (Though im not sure where UNLV would play their home games).

Sam Boyd is cool thanks to the location and being able to go outside of the stadium, Im not sure a regular NFL stadium supercross would be that exciting. Plus the dirt is stored right outside of Sam Boyd beside the pits, if I were FELD thats gotta be pretty convenient.

Any word on if they will be bringing it back next year? Sadly, it did look like the crowd wasnt as packed as Monster Jam. Would love to go to Hawaii for the first time next year and also catch a race!

Stands were ok. They had graduation on Saturday night. A lot of locals said they would have gone, but had to take care of the day Ohana.

They're sharing the same stadium as the Raiders.

Definitely the older swing arm and older frame for sure. I'd say yes. Those bikes were still more than competitive enough though, at least with the competition at that race.

Awesome photos Maverick! I would love to see any of the finished track before the races or possibly the work in progress while we were building.
Would have enjoyed the opportunity to meet you while here. Lots of challenges working the heavy clay soil but finally came around once the sun went down.

Ok I talked to some locals today and they said they had 2 graduations on Saturday. Each grad class and family was around 6000. Took a lot of people away from the races on Saturday. Could be bigger next year.

After watching Brayton's go-pro video and seeing the pics, that track really looks more like an AX track than a SX track. Maybe I am just losing my mind...
