I think Team Two Two should be able to put Dean on a bike with the number 22 on it. I have a feeling Chads sponsors would agree.

I think there will be plenty of "TwoTwo" splashed around.

I think your just in denial and want to see the 22 out there instead of 15 on the 22 motosports bike.

Or maybe chad should have thought a bit more before naming his team based on his current number.

Stewart put as much forethought into his company as Reed Wink

And James Stewart should have thought before naming his company after his current number.. Because nobody is out there buying his gear right? haha

How is this any different than Seely using his own number while riding Canard's bike?

No. Clearly he did think about it. That's why it's TwoTwo and not 22 Motorsports.

Numbers are assigned to the rider, not the bike or team so I don't think there is much of a choice of option.

But 15 is lower than 22. Wilson must be a better rider. BlinkWhistling

Your exactly right. Honda should be able to keep the #41 on the bike with Seely riding it.

Either go back to the old system (run what you earn) or go all in on the NASCAR system and give the numbers to the teams instead of the riders.

I know the numbering system but it is an interesting thought that would be valuable to BIG sponsors who we desperately need.

Did you know that Discount Tire also sponsors Brad Keselowski who drives the number 22 car in NASCAR.

I think Discount Tire would absolutely love to see a 22 bike on the track.

You know this is Supercross, not NASCAR, right?

Are you talking about supercross where you earn your number each year and the top riders have the lowest numbers? Are you talking about supercross where it is a accomplishment to get a double digit number and a big accomplishment to get a single digit number?

Or.....Are you talking about supercross with no number 8 or no number 6? Or supercross where a guy can't run a three digit number he has run his entire career (577,292,199).

My number rankings:
1. Supercross old way
2. NASCAR way
3. Any other way
4. Supercross current way

Funny thing is I've never given Nascar 5 minutes of my time.

Reed has a unique situation with being a rider and team owner. Sure this doesn't fall in the norm, but deserves consideration and may help with outside sponsorship.

Obviously the numbering system is a sore subject with you. I'll hop on the Vital bandwagon of shit talking riders week in and week out instead.

Break a leg this weekend!
