I may not post as much as most people on here but I do come to the board a few times a day to see whats going on. Trying to let the board come to me instead of forcing myself upon the vitards.

Some of my posts are dumb, some I put some intelligence into. Overall, I am a noob, at times need to STFU, but most importantly I am a die hard moto guy! Thats why we are all here anyways, right?

I lurked here in the beginning, but I was at Bushwood from day one and I guess I sort of became a loyalist and took forever to sign up here. Back in those days I only had enough room in my life for one message board...lol

Not saying that yours is, but most people's mother's vaginas aren't large enough for them to be born with kids coming out riding a dirt bike. Some people take a few years before getting into motocross. It may have been a friend took them to a Supercross, or they went to a local race with a buddy or maybe they found it while channel surfing at 1:30 AM on a Sunday night....who knows.

What the point is, I can guarantee you that there was a day when you had no idea who Davey Coombs was. There may not have been the convenience of an internet message board for you to ask a basic question like, "wow, who is this guy that seems to be the guru of the moto world that most people hold in high regard?'

I don't know about you, but I like when I see new people ask even the most basic of questions here. Back in our racing days, we would spend so much time with the families of new kids to show them the ropes, the same way the Tannenbaum's did with me. I like to see new fans, new posters and new people show up at the track.

Having said that, I knew it would be 8 or 10 posts or more before that guy finally got a straight answer. I laughed immediately when I saw the Who Is DC thread, because I knew what was inside before I even clicked.

One thig is for sure, though, this place never lets me down.

Oh and I agree about paying the bills. This is literally the only site where my ad blocker is turned off. I actually even click a few of the links.....lol.

well said. I think that sums up most of us. Why else are we here? We love the sport. Most of the times I actually like the disagreements/debates, as long as they're not totally retarded, because it gets you thinking how big the sport can be with different opinions, and sometimes, if you weed through the bs, you actually can learn a lot that you may not just talking to the same few ppl about moto in your local circles.
