What is next to improve supercross? I am not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it is the ideal solution to the 250 vs 450 career decision/eligibility issues. I am proposing a promotion and relegation system, such as you see in English football. In this system, the 250 class becomes the lower division, which it should be. You end up with all of the fastest racers in the 450 class. And every rider in the 250 class has the chance and the motivation to move up to 450. I realize there are many details to be worked out, but they certainly could be. This system would provide the most amazing, no excuses racing for both divisions.
