Cervellin’s bike. Should be a 250.

Cervellin, while training at Lommel, took a jump, and landed on a crashed bike. Good that he ( and, one assumes / hopes, the rider of the landed on bike) is not injured. It must have been a hell of an impact.

Saw it happen one time in about 2002 on a KX125 at washougal off the ski jump. Cant for the life of me remember who it was but it was a local guy and not at the national.

I've seen axle lugs break before it's rare but it happens. Kind of like some of these street bike stunters have found out from doing multiple stoppies.

That’s an orange anodized axle nut. Axle nuts haven’t been made of carbon steel in about three decades there buddy.
