5th fastest in qualifying today on a kick start bike. CRAZY. I hope he finishes in the top 5.

Glad to see a privateer making it to the 18 wheeler crowd!

BTW when ripping up the track it does not matter how you had started the beast! Me I am lazy and like to be able to push a button 😆

With the hand crank engine and square wheels it's a wonder he was even able to complete a lap.

He did put out a outstanding qualifying time in Q1 but I think Q2 is more accurate on where he'd finish. A top 10 would be incredible. I mean, even the top top guys would have at least some transition time to an entire new bike. He's ridden it just a few times and is already this quick!

Last week Noren was battling with Tomac because Eli's "setup" was off. Now imagine switching bike brand in less than a week and still put it in the top 10. Damn impressive if you ask me, even if it's just a qualifying.

That was great! Wish they would add to the group of post race interviews when some surprises.

But is it really a fair comparison of a factory Suzuki to a privateer Honda, though? Of course, the factory bike is going to be better.. It's tailor-made for you.

That Suzuki looked slow and heavy! He can make the podium with a Factory KTM or Husky....

Oké joking!

Great ride by Freddy! Must feel really good for him and also JGR. Keep up the work boys!!

Freddie is likely on someone-else’s set-up.

He hasn’t had enough time to create his own.

Was that Freddie's best moto result? I think his best overall is a 6th from Unidilla a few years back with a 6-6,

Really hoping for another good start in moto 2 and a solid overall on the day!

Correct, but the parts they have available to make that bike better trump anything that Freddy likely had access to through his sponsors when he was in the box van. Especially with it being JGR and how experimental they are.

I am curious to see if this will be the best finish he has, or if he can do better or even land on the podium as he gets more time on the Suzuki.

Some you are getting a little too excited over a 5th place in regards to the Suzuki controversy.

And some of you would still discredit them even if they won a championship...

I think he had a 5th before in a moto. At Millville and Unadilla the same year. Not sure about the year. Maybe 2016

The fact that he is getting paid and all he has to do is ride is probably the biggest change. Last week he was the driver/manager/rider/mechanic...
