Why do only like 3 people have them... in a mud race? Theyre not cool lookin enough? What team owner even lets your rider go out like that... I dont get it. Am I missing some reason why not to use them here, I cant think of a reason why you wouldnt give yourself every advantage you can.

They're not really saving anything.. and if they get twisted or jammed up in a crash it's one more issue that could prevent them from finishing

They are plastic (the shield and the mounts)...they aren’t going to get jammed up.

I saw they use bags in gncc. Wonder if they are worth it. Never used them

Bags over the handlebars/grips? They would keep your hands from getting muddy/wet but not sure how you would go about pulling tear-offs or roll-offs.

Once you pull your hand out of the bag it would be difficult to put it back it.

It's 2019, push button motorized roll-offs and these beauties:

I think they look cool with hand guards. Pastrana was big in raising awareness of Acerbis handguards in the mx scene back when he was racing.

Its 2019, they use moisture sensors on those automatic goggles like Ralph was talking about.
