No Supercross Banquet in 2019?

Do Feld no longer have the end of season banquet in Vegas on the Sunday afternoon? Remember the controversy when Chad Reed chugged on a bottle of Jack Daniels on stage.
When did this get shelved?

That was a looong time ago. I went to the last one, and I’m guessing it was 7 or 8 years ago. Good times.

They use that money to pay the FIM and for drug testing!

Canceled I think 5 years ago. Attendance dwindled and it was basically just the people that had to show up. Kind of like press conferences now Wink

The banquet on Catalina one year was interesting. We really impressed the folks from Camel/RJ Reynolds.

I think they do some Gala thing now together with all other FIM championship awards ceremony stuff. Dunno if that is related to the Banquet though, i remember seeing pictures of Dungey in Monaco 2 year back!

FIM specific and only for champions. FIM requires anyone that won a title in an FIM sanctioned series to go to that gala. If they don't go they get fined.
