not that spectacular. its been done before. still big strangle hold on outdoors. even with an injured wilson they still have rattray and baggett who are proven to be blazingly fast and consistent enough. plus durham now.

its debatable whether rattray should be in the class. especially when people talk shit and say the gps are a joke. hes been in 250 class in america for 4 years now maybe 5? i could be wrong. but he has no titles in america and has had some injury setbacks. theres guys that have been in this class longer than him(sipes, cunningham, lemoine)

He isn't doing it by choice. He would take RV's ride in a flash, but I doubt Mitch would let him now.

I really dont think he needs to move up. its not like hes dominating the class either indoors or outdoors, but you saying he isn't doing it by choice is a stretch. he signs his contracts knowing they are for the 250 class.

He looked for a 450 ride this year but he could only get a 250 ride. It's not by choice.

Based on him winning a championship, and the amount of years he's been in the development class. CP's problem was money, not the same as Rattray.

I will take a healthy and confident Barcia/Tomac

over a

questionable PC Team.

Nothing against the guys on PC, but the Hondas look to be considerably stronger this year. With Durham new to the team, Wilson hurt and Rattray not racing in months, that leaves Bagget.

He won a GP championship. Whos to say hes not still developing? the argument that kids coming out of amateurs having to race guys who are years older than them and have had more time in the class being detrimental to a young racer is bullshit. what better way to develop than to race against someone who has raced against multiple different champions on both sides of the pond.

I think his results show he's no longer developing. It's time for him to move up.

Even if it only left baggett thats still someone who many could argue was inconsistent last summer. but he still had 8 moto wins and a healthy gap on 4th in points. and he clearly has no trouble running people down from a ways back.

rattray was out a couple years ago for a few months and still came back out swingin. durham will only be better than he was last year.

rattray sat out the whole 2010 lites sx series with an injury. and finished second in the championship.

barcia and tomac were both healthy and confident last year. and produced nothing outdoors. the claim that barcia couldnt contend on account of his "broken wrist" or because he was "sick". doesn't hold alot of weight since he did fine on a heavier and more powerful bike.

isn't the main development needed indoors? since everyone grows up riding outdoors. this was only his second year of sx .

No one should 'move up' unless they wanted too. The 250F class is just as much a pro class as the 450 class. What kind of nazi bullshit is a rule that tells you you can't even ride the CC of your choice?
4/29/2012 2:52am
Remember Bagget last year? He's gonna be really wanting it this year,Rattray hasn't exactly had a good run at all really with umpteen injuries but even so I think he's probably been there long enough to be on the 450 by now,he'd do a great job too I'm sure.its a tough call though,he's been solid outdoors when fit

PC could still play a big part championship wise over here, they trimmed Herlings up yesterday and are looking good this year

nazi ? Are you serious ? Ya the AMA shaves people heads in the center of the street gives them a serial number and then ships them off to the dreaded 450 class where they sure to expire.

I thought Rattray was moving up to the 450s for outdoors.

So, we forget that it's been done before...I mean...where did Canard come from...?

Memories are short, around here...the simple fact that PC had a bad year shouldn't be too surprising: It's racing SHIT happens.

BOTH SX Lites titles...woohoo...

Let's see how things go out-doors.

I think we're gonna see more Orange at the front...too...even Malcolm.

But, hey, I could be wrong...
