Kinda disappointed when the new Supercross schedule came out and Nashville wasn’t on the list. Does anyone know why it was taken off ? I know the price of getting the stadium is a big factor but the cool thing about Nashville is that you can make a cool vacation out of it.

Really dumb for them to drop Nashville after 1 year. Especially because Nashville was the hit of the SX season last year. Classic Feld—nothing to see here, folks!

Makes no sense. It was decent racing and a really good time

Seriously. Let’s drop the sx that’s in one of the fastest growing cities in the country, is easy to get to and is bordered by 8 states.

Feld might have had demands added that made doing an event unrealistic as a business decision.

I’m sure money is involved directly or indirectly. It’s always the first major hurdle. Dates can be moved around but sometimes success can change a field of play.

Nashville did look like an awesome round last year. Seems like they might start rotating cities like Nashville and Tampa every other year?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually put Nashville as a finale. The event was awesome and the atmosphere was even better. Best supercross I’ve been to!

I'm from St Louis and some friends and I made the trip to Nashville this SX season and it was way better than St Louis... by a long shot. This next season I would much rather had another race in Nashville, rather than St Louis.

St louis attendance has always been sky hi for them, stadium is old and the dates they used to have were loaded
with 5 major events in town don't know if that was why dates changed but St Louis had happened for 25 yrs or over.

Another example? New York and Boston.

Yeah dumb was planning on going this year with a big group. They also took off minneapolis so no supercross races for me this year. Nashville was a huge hit so i agree with everyone on here.

I don't think it brought enough for Nashville to even notice. Hints it is a bigger pain than ROI for them just to say, no thanks.

It was a cool venue and I enjoyed taking the trip down. But I also enjoyed the Tennessee national, Troy and Toronto, but they are gone as well. I pretty much have enjoyed every race I've ever been to. I'd enjoy them more in OHIO.

Born and raised in Nashville and love TN for many reasons...but shame on them for bailing out. I still hit the replay switch from that round because it was great racing.

I think there are some pretty big misconceptions about scheduling in this thread. I have a strong feeling that they understand that event was a success and will be back there asap.

Oh yeah? Please explain cause I can't think of a better location for the stadium in Nashville. It's right across the river from Broadway with a walk bridge connecting the two.

The plan right now is that Nashville and Tampa will rotate every year. Then Vegas will go back as the finale when the Raiders stadium is finished.

JT I'm pretty sure people just either skim through the comments or skip them all together and just keep posting....even when you posted WHY they're not doing Nashville THIS year lol.

Fans: "we need to grow the sport! Show people more supercross!"

Feld: "let's rotate supercross site rounds to provide access for a variety of fans on a bi-annual basis and to facilitate ease of dirt usage with monster trucks."

Fans: "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US?!?!"

Nashville is gone, they did not really want it from the start. They tested it, it failed. The city can make 10X more money from other events that brings in way more people. The turnout of that race was pathetic compared to most anything they do in Nashville.

This is about as accurate as your handle's investment advice.
