Anyone want to take a guess as to why this, they won’t be no races held at MetLife this year. I’m pretty disappointed, I was planning to take my son to his first race. (This is exactly what’s wrong with the sport now)

They had previously said they would alternate between Foxborough and MetLife.

How is this exactly what's wrong with the sport now? There's 17 rounds, meaning it'll visit 17 stadiums and that changes year-to-year based off the market of that area, along with the schedule of that stadium. Beyond that, the schedule is announced over six months in advance of the series start to plan around this. For some areas, there'll be consistent rounds as the market and viability of the stadium make for a solid return...while other rounds might not produce the returns or the stadium use schedules make it difficult to use that round each year...thus it might be rotated on the schedule.

I drove from Central California to Anaheim, which is 4.5 hours, for A2. #MakingMotocrossGreatAgain

Attendance was awful last year for MetLife. Lowest it’s ever been I would say. Place looked dead empty

Lol I live in Boston and have driven to all 4 MetLife rounds they've had over the last few years. No way you are making that drive in 3.5 hours. You need to throw in an additional hour and a half minimum for traffic.

It was cold as balls last year when I went. Was still a good race as you all remember. Musquin-Dungeygate, lol.

Sounds like you know the answer... mind sharing it with us? You said “this is what’s wrong with the sport now”. Do you know something the rest of us don’t? Or is “what’s wrong with the sport” just the fact that attending a race isn’t as convenient for you?

Sooo actually I live in Delaware so MetLife is still about a 3 hour ride for me, making a trip to Boston almost a 7 hour trip. So yeah no MetLife once again sucks

And don’t get me wrong for those that jumping down my throat about my comment, I love the sport been watching and riding since I was 12. But I just wish the sport could be recognized on a larger scale, and by not traveling to a specific market lesser your audience and attendance that’s all I meant by I.T.

At the time Jersey, it was warm until the sun went down and the main event, then it got cold and windy fast.

Dude I totally agree! Every race should be in my backyard too. That fact that I have to travel AT ALL to see a professional MX/SX race is a huge black eye for the sport.

I knew it was over last year for NJ. Attendence was terrible.... and that was with a tight 450 points battle.

Can’t blame Feld. Gotta be one of the more costly stops for them.

Live sx for the hardcore fan is a massive let down for the price. To me its a $17.50 experience for $150/per person all things considered. Save your money and put it into your own riding. DVR it and watch it next day.

Feld does not need motocrosser's to be profitable. The riders will not be effected if none of us attend so its all good.

They need a Pittsburgh Round since the north east outdoor stadiums are in play now.

Me Too! lol Smile

I thought I read somewhere another reason they aren't having a race at MetLife is if they don't have good enough
attendance they weren't going to run the transit system out to the stadium.
