First ride for a new team and had a really consistent night. Really don't understand why some don't give him any support.

First ride was in Montreal and there's reasons why a lot of guys don't give him any support.

Great, consistent ride by Malcolm. Held Eli off for a while due to protecting the insides smartly and of course a hard to pass on track.

Friese stayed in front of him in the 3rd main. No love for Frise?

To his credit, Yes he rides a wide bike. Impressed by his riding tonight.
Hope he trains hard and has a great 2019!

What are those reasons?
Facts or unfounded bullshit?
Spill the beans please.

He was about right where I thought he would be. Starts were important and Mookie had those (but wtf was he thinking that third start though) but he was a click off the fast guys in speed, as expected.

I was more surprised about the weak performances of Webb and Baggett tbh.

Him not taking the opportunities most vitards will never get, they are just jealous for making his own decisions. Dude is fast, and dude might be less dedicated to racing as to others front-runners are. But ffs grow up and see that you can still respect a guy, even tho he doesn't do what you want him to do.....

nah man, freise gets no love. you must be new.

ingratiating himself with the new teammate, clearing a path for Friese

OK, ok, so he lost his balance.

Keep up the good racing, Stewart.

Top 5 on the night, wait until he gets comfortable..

Seriously wish he had ridden the Alta. 10 laps is just what he needed, we'll see how he does in longer runs.

This is a one off 10 lap format. Mookie ran where he was expected to run. He will be a 8- 14 guy all season in SX like last season may finish a bit better some tracks but he is not a consistent top 5 guy if most of the pack stays relatively healthy.

Held off is code for 'was in Eli's way for too long and balled him up'

-Saying he's not racing outdoors to train and get ready for SX yet comes into the series unfit.

-Saying he doesn't have a ride yet got a call from MCR for a ride this year but never returned their calls. Ironically he's now riding for them.

-Not racing outdoors yet wonders why he doesn't have a ride. The outdoor results he had were poor. He last raced the outdoor series in 2014 and finished 16th.

-His SX results in the 450 class haven't been great and he wonders why he didn't get a call for a factory ride.

All facts. His life, his decisions and IDGAF what he does. I'm just saying those are reasons why a lot of guys don't support him. If you guys are too blind to see that well that's your problem.

For the record, I don't hate Malcolm. He's got a great personality and that's needed in this sport.

i don't love him or hate him, he's a cool guy off-track, i was just curious.

|

I think his mindset is little different this year. If he would just put is head down and do it 100% with a trainer, shed some weight, commit to indoor and outdoors and give it 100% for the entire season i think his career would be a lot better.

Mookie did great , but its only 10 lap races and he had good starts .. lets see what happens , i dont think he wil be a top 10 guy , maybe later when people get njured like ast season ... i would be surprised to see him at A1 fit enough to go all in the whole event .. its a shame to see , as its obvious he has a lt of talent , but talent alone isnt enough these day you have to put in a lot of work .. havent seen the last part , and he did enough time to do it

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

Bet you are that guy that calls this an excuse? My dad died of renal failure after 14 years of dialysis. It' ain't no fun. But i'm sure you could just walk it off.

So that's why he didn't race the last few years? Give me a break. He's clearly healthy now and he was last year and the year before. That was back in 2014.

Kidney problems run in my family so I'm familiar with it. Had a friend die 3 years ago due to complications of being on dialysis due to a car accident. She was on it for 6 years.

You have no idea what I've been through and currently going through so STFU.

I wonder if this is just a "racing incident" or payback for some prior weasel move made by musquin. From what I've seen in the past, it's safe to say Malcolm is no push over.

He's got the potential but lacks the discipline and work ethic.

He lost balance in the middle of the turn. Don't look at just the one picture. Go watch it on Youtube.

To me, heโ€™s kind of a sideshow like Hansen. So much potential....

This. Nothing about it looked intentional

Nothing in this thread is false, yet judging by the unusual number of downvotes everywhere, all you vitards have some sort of emotional attachment to being for or against Mookie.
