Yes, DC is trying to do whats best for MX, as long as it's good for (his) business.

Make another outdoor in washington. I hope this isnt true about GH though that nat. brings A LOT to the table in outdoors. That track is the epitome of motocross.

his business? i think he could care a less about money, just making the riders happy. the nationals were almost dead untill last year, i saw more tv coverage and better racing. just because the national has moved doesnt mean you should forget the good things DC is doing for the sport.

Progress sometimes eliminates those that don't want to put forth the effort to get there.

Good on DC to sticking to his guns.

Well aint this a bitch! I do hate the fact that the tracks are are a primmed and proper now, watching all these manicured tracks on tv is horrible. F**** sake the whoops at Millville are nothing now, thing used to be twice as long. The only two tracks the whole season that resembled REAL MOTOCROSS were 1-Glen Helen 2-Southwick. Get ready to welcome the dieing of the pure bred motocross track.

Ironic. I would think that with a technologically advanced site like MXA, Glen Helen would be all about future progress. Blink

What about the track owner, from your link

"We always had issues with the track owner. Once we threatened to cancel the race at the riders meeting on Sunday because of the treatment we were getting from the track owner. And we were damned serious. We had had enough of his changing things, complaining, threatening us, and being an obstacle in putting on a quality event. We were about 5 minutes from sending several thousand racers and spectators back to the gate to get their money when the owner finally blinked and headed to the gate and off the property for the rest of the event."

If you think DC has deep enough pockets to not have to worry about $$$ then your world must be nice to live in (where money is no object). of coarse it's a business.
