After his 5th place finish in 2016 Husqvarna knew he had the right stuff to keep the Rockstar bike up front. Congrats to him.

In related news, I saw Andrew Short also of the Rockstar Husky (Dakar) team at Spoaks Motopark in Dale TX yesterday. He lives nearby.

Is that his Best ever moto finish ?
Also I was wondering if he could do better on the Husky
And I guess he answered that question.

No I think he’s gotten a 3rd or 4th overall when he was on the jgr Yamaha. I think he got 5th in points that year. Phillip

I love Phil, but you would need a calendar to mark how far back he was from first place, time-wise.

He's not paid to be in 1st place. He's paid to be in 5th-10th place. Which is exactly what he's done. Team is happy I'm sure.

Phil deserves more respect than he gets for outdoors.
