ClubMX bikes looking sooo good.
If he can close the gap to Wright, he'll do just fine.
He's also been on the Yamaha for a number of years now, so that helps as well.
Pit Row
Big diff racing in Canada vs US. Phil will be at home there and comfortable.
It's not like Phil didn't have any experience on our tracks or was on a brand new bike. He was very competitive against Facciotti in his first year up here and you know that's not an easy task. Millsaps came up here and won the title his first year after not racing outdoors since 2012. Sure, Facciotti came in injured, but still.
Dylan just moved up to the 450 class and worked everyone. No one saw it coming. I knew he was going to be good and win races, but nothing like what we saw.
Honestly, and people might not want to believe it, but for anyone else to have won the title last year, it would've taken someone of Baggett's caliber. Dylan was that good.
Phil must see something in him as he's the one that asked Dylan to go down to ClubMX.
Either way, it'll be interesting to see where Phil stacks up after being up here for 2 years.
Side Note: I'd like to see Wright try his hand at a few MXGP races and Pettis to race full time down south. I understand that it's not that easy, but in my opinion I think they're both wasting their time/talent up here.
I just think there’s big difference in the whole vibe/feel of the cdn Nats compared to the us that I think keeps our cdn guys from doing their best when going to the US nationals.
I’m from Ottawa too and want to see Dylan do well, just think it could take getting a year or so under his belt.
It always seems hard to compare riders from series to series for some reason.
