I read the old national track thread and thought of this. Maybe it's been done before but I'll shoot first:
Swan - Tyler, TX
Monster Mountain - Tallasee, AL

Castillo Ranch.

Hey DC, I went to my first RacerX Ride Day in 2006 and there was a water line that was leaking, and it resulted in a huge mud hole in one of the tighter sections. I ended up getting stuck on my YZ85 and you went digging through the mud to help me get out. At the time I don't even think I knew who you were! Laughing Good memories Cool

Club MX, though I’ve only ridden the practice track, the pro track looks to be nationals-level quality.

I've never been but Miles Mountain in Elkland, Pennsylvania looks to have potential.

I tried pulling up GoPro from some of the tracks mentioned that I’ve never heard of.. some of you clearly have never been to a national or are just spouting out the name of your local track for name sake.

Things you need at a national track:
Elevation
Wide course
Passing opportunity
Clearly defined course boundaries
Parking and infrastructure

And can we just get this out there: FT&T is NOT a race track. Calling something a “pro track” does not deem it a race track. And I’ve heard it’s teetering on closing the gates.

A lot of awesome tracks that could never host a national because of what Crutcher said. No parking for teams/spectators, too far from airports, hotel availability...the track is only half of the equation. Anyone remember the first year of the new Thunder Valley race? They had to cut fences down at the adjoining property to park people. I can't imagine the cost of putting on a top notch national.

Done up with a full National prep, this place could become one of the best on the circuit

I've always felt the same about FT&T. People bitch about the Barber track because it was completely artificial, and so is FT&T. It's completely man-made on a flat field in the flattest state in the country. What exactly makes it a National-worthy location?

Breezewood is SUPER awesome to spend the day at in terms of facilities and what those that aren't riding can do, but sometimes it feels like more of a campground than a Race track.. Track wise, I think Millville has amazing dirt and a great layout. Even the vet track is fun. They can also host harescrambles. And have A/C bathrooms.
