Nice job. I always thought those one sided radiator KXs were pretty clean looking bikes

Are you gonna ride or race it?

I begged my dad to buy me that exact bike. Unfortunately he never bought it, but rode one plenty as my buddy ended up getting one. Such an awesome bike to ride and a great choice for a restore. Excellent work sir!

I would put brake fluid so the inside of the brake lines don't get corroded, same goes for the radiators, unless the brake lines/reservoirs and radiators are brand new and have never had any fluid in 'em. That's just me though.. Nice looking bike btw

Great job! Nice looking bike. I'd love to see MXA do new tests on the old bikes. Be interesting to see how HP, handling, lap times, etc. would be different compared to current bikes.

All I can say is congrats.

I owned an 86' and it was my favorite bike hands down. Your restoration is nothing less than stunning.

I am truly jealous.

Also owned a 1986 model and loved it. Only the '85 motor was better. I keep my eyes peeled for a good resto project on a single radiator KX125 but they are getting few and far between.

I owned and raced an 84' kx 125, so to see your bike, and "new" is amazing.
That is some truly awesome work, must have been a labor of love.
Had to feel real good to know you were making progress through that project and seeing it come together.
WOW! again, brings back good memories of some good years and good bikes.
super job MXM.
