Considering a few changes to my fleet of bikes and have found a pretty good deal on a '19 150SX with 20 hrs. I have a 2014 KTM 150SX that I ride occasionally. Has just over 100 hours, so wouldn't mind replacing it for a lower hour bike if the performance difference is worth it.

I have time on a '19 FC350 and '19 450 SXF and like the geometry/handling/etc. Also would have suspension redone for weight/skill. Mainly curious if the engine on the newer is better enough to be worth the upgrading. Anyone with time on both generations?

I can't comment on the engine, but I think the AER48 forks alone would be worth the upgrade.

Stock for stock, no doubt. After having my WP CC revalved, they're very good: predictable, controlled, plush enough.

Actually have another set that I'd probably put on them to have spring forks over air.

I have a 17 FC350 and an 18 150sx so not the latest frame generation, but I have ridden the 14 150 and think you will love the 19 in comparison. Id say go for it.

Although I've not ridden the older bike, but at one point we has 2017 fc450, 2018 tc125 and 2018 sx150 that was fitted with the same bars off the husky.

It was amazing how you could jump from one bike to another and be comfortable straight away

If I were to buy a new bike now, it definitely would be the 150sx.....

Loved my 14 150 hated my 18 150.

18 engine was faster but I liked the delivery of the 14 better.

19 corners better, 14 has better stability on straights

I like the 19/20 over the 2016 I own. I think the 16is better than the 14.

Much slimmer and better suspension out of the box.

Might need a few things to get it dialed in like carb setting and suspension tuning

That's a setup issue that can be fixed adjusting the jetting and power valve.

The stability can be adjusted pretty easily.

Motor is stronger on the 14 IMO. Chassis is pretty good on the 16-18s though.
