I have always wanted to ride there....what is the procedure and cost....
Any bikes/UTV's banned...?
Anything I should be aware of ?
What is a good month to go ?

Be aware of the BLM and their power trip.
Pack it in pack it out,dumpsters are located at each camping areas.
IMO best camping is along Gecko road.
The camping area at the washes behind the store gets pretty dusty on big weekends.
no pallets.
Each vehicle must have a whip.
Weekly passes are available in Brawley or at venders row. (Brawleys cheaper)
I don’t know how much they are now, I didn’t go last few years. Last time I went they were $35 a week
Oct-April is sand season. Any other time is to hot.
Respect other camp sites and the dunes.
