Yz85 finally has a power valve. Guessing the new 65 facilitated the change....now if we could just get a factory yz300. If they ditched the 250 completely they'd still sell more with a 300. Or better yet make the x model a 285 or 300....

Not surprising. There’s been rumors of a new 85 and it only makes sense since the new 65 costs more and is also more advanced. 85 would be a stepping stone up from that. We’ll see if they update the 125 and 250 in a couple years, hopefully.

Did I miss something in the MXA article? It says "first look" but I didn't see a single picture, the info is pretty much what's been rumored for months, and the link they put up to Yamaha's website doesn't say anything about any 2019 bikes.

What's the repercussion on publishing something early like that? Any real fines, backlash, or simply a stern warning not to do it again...Serious question

I believe an updated 125/250 is coming. Little updates, added X models, all new 65, and soon to be updated 85 kinda hints at it in this guys opinion.

Electric start 250f too lol. What's the weight I wonder? Interesting they moved the cylinder more forward too. Basically mimicking the 18 450 . First redesign of the backwards 250 motor probably alot of r and d they picked up to make it run in those 5 years.
