Hey Vital!! Been checking the forum here everyday for at least a year and finally decided to sign up.

Ive been riding my entire life but took a few years off for college and to recover from 4 knee surgeries. Most of my family still rode and in May 2012 i decided to give it another shot and have been hooked (again) since. I bought an 07 kx250f in February of thia year and rode about 75 hours this summer.

I ride mistly trails but my feeling is as long as you are on a dirt bike the type of riding is secondary. My dad and i do a lot of vintage stuff and the pic is off the Rickmann with a TL125 motor that we
picked up at the AMA Vintage Motorcyle days at Mid-OHio this year.

This got a little long winded but i wanted to introduce myself to everyone!

Hope to see some of you on a track/trail sometime!

Welcome. Just remember that 4-strokes have ruined motocross, Chad Reed is a drama queen, neck braces will kill you, and don't ask for funding if you plan to race supercross. Did I miss anything? I would give you a STFU noob but I don't think I have been here long enough yet.

I love my 250f but also have a kx250 smoker that i take out to get my pre-mix fix. Not a Chad Reed fan (although i respect his riding abilities), dont wear a neck brace and I will only attend a supercross as a spectator!

I may have a problem that most on vital can relate to.....dirt bikes consume my every thought!

Welcome. A few words of advice.
1). Don't take anything serious or personal.
2). Never click on a post that contains letters WLA or J.
3). Don't start a boycott

We also have a 74 Rickmann with a Zundapp motor that my dad bought in 77vto match this. Both run and are in original condition. Ive tried to convince him to let me run ine in the vintage harescramble race at mid-ohio but havent had any success.

I think you've got the wrong forum. None of us actually ride. We just like to talk about how we would ride if we did. You're an outcast for sure.

Cool bike. Was it also Zundapp powered in a previous life? I had a basketcase one back around 1994, too far gone with me having no spares so it was sold off to fund more CR125 projects.

Believe me, that was completely said in sarcasm about the recent neck brace thread. Everyone who read it clearly knows where I stand on the issue.
