New ktm pricing - texas

Looking to buy a new ktm 450 Sxf. Went and priced a new 2019 out and was quoted just over 10k out the door. This is in Texas. With the new 2020 out, am I going to be able to find a better out the door price? Was hoping to be a little under 10k or at least have some incentives for maybe full cash purchase or military discount. This is my first new bike purchase, I’ve owned all used up to this point. What do y’all think?

10k seems a little high. looks like you can get them for about 9500 otd here in utah. Advertised for 8500(+ tax and setup fee)

That’s not bad 350 price this early in the year. need a new bike I’d bite on that price.

OP call many shops. Let them earn your business. Someone will move a bike for a price you want.

Just bought a new 2019 450 SX-F right up the road in Tulsa for $7,995 OTD. No tax on OK sales. I never pay tax as I don't title my bikes.

What he’s saying is he declares his purchases on April 15 every year to the tax man. Just like all of the rest of us out of state buyers.....

So as you can see he got the same bike but just kept 2,000 in his pocket the day of the purchase. Might cost a couple hundred round trip in fuel. But your still $1800 in your pocket....

Prices on cycle trader are usually bs. I called around the country last year when I was looking for a new bike and some places had $3000 fee's they would add to the internet price. Ended up buying a bike from Stillwater Powersports, 400 under MSRP and no tax!

I can do the same up in Utah, but, I just had a guy claim that I won’t be able sell it or trade it in with MCO... I think he is full of it, what is your experience?

Because some people don't shop around and somebody will pay it. We have a dealer by us that's way higher than everybody else and they still sell every bike.
