I think it’s really cool as a fans, how much of a inside view we get into some riders and man friends life but...

After listening to Michael Lindsay’s interview he brought up a good point. There are so many other individuals involved in these race teams that get Zero publicity…And have cool positions.

As someone who watches a good amount of YouTube (golf, sailing, aviation, trucking channels, other random stuff, etc…) my question is why don’t any other team members have vlogs like the mechanics, truck drivers, managers, gear guys, etc. it would be cool to see more of the sport than just the riders.

I would guess Time equipment and Technical skills,
I've considered doing some sort of Vlog but It's like trying to learn a second language to me, I find the editing and transfiguration the files and storing the files and all that really challenging.
I'm actually looking for someone to walk me through some of it. I've watched a ton of videos and still feel like I need one on one help to learn it.

At Instagram I'm more interested in the mechanics then the riders. Way more insight. But if you work as much as theses guys you don't have time to make a vlog. For the riders it's PR to have a vlog and to present their sponsors. They (mostly) don't do it on their own and I expect them to pay a good amount of money to make it by a professionell. For a mechanic it might not be as important as for a rider so they don't spend the money. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shoot I spend more time workin on my bikes than I do riding them. As a fan of the sport, my interest goes beyond the riders, imagine if we could see a mechanic perspective or the truck drivers week. Just a cool idea to expose some of the other characters and get more content in general.

It would be honestly pretty cool to have a truck Driver ‘s vlog! Plus on raceday he could film BTS of the riders.

Agreed. It would be cool to see some of the other team members in the “limelight”

It is very time consuming there’s a lot of trial and error involved from what I hear

Good question! I also would love to see the mechanics view (and to learn their secrets! )
But like others have said, time is tight and they don't really need to, as far as being
a spokesperson goes.

Right here man I delivered to romeoville iL. The Compton load. Then to our shop and office to get another truck in melrose park . Ready to quit if it was another pile every inch of me is beaten. Truck has a high # that’s good today I find out the # is much lower, the hood
Was changed from a wreck. But the good is that a driver leased it so it may be ungovered . fuel gauge is on E I tried to siphon fuel from a truck but can’t it has anti siphen tanks. So I tried a reefer tank that didn’t work . Then I tried my mouth on the hose and got a mouth full of fuel. Then I moved stuff into truck it was dark. All I ate all day was oatmeal so I walked 1/3 mi jumped in my beater and drove to Walmart to get food and stuff. There was a shooting the police had the street closed the opposite way. I get my Walmart stuff then stopped at a couple Italian restaurants 1 was open. I say yo Anthony you see Pauly around, he says yeah I saw him at your Mothers house. I leave with 2 delishes Italian beef sandwiches with a side dipping sauce. Police still hv the street closed I tried cutting threw businesses and parking lots didn’t work. I can barely see threw the dirt on the windshield but I found a way. Get back to the truck yard visit with a Russian driver and pig out. I get up at 3.30 and finish moving. The rest of the day is quite a few task with numerous shop and office people Russian Bulgarian Serbians always a trip and a trailer repair. I made it on E to get fuel that was a relieve. Saturday night was fun I stopped at a Casio in Miami Ok. They hv a old house by the rd with showers in only 10.60 . There was a profeshenal fight with a packed house in a concert room. Kick ass rock band Amped from Tulsa I chugged a beer and dirty danced with a couple big gals , I was lucky I didn’t get injured. Casino had alot of hot blondes, Mo. state line is near. Sunday I didn’t hv to push the usual 680 mi or so I stopped at the 1st truck stop on Route 66 the Dixie in McLean iL. Amazing food but the restraunt was closed the mon-fri crew is burnt out so they close on the weekend. Exit 369 i40 in NM. Has a car show with 3 rotations of cars and slit of old stuff. Truckers omelette is good but not survered after 11 am any more. Boo

The shower rooms are tiny I don’t know how 2 large Marge team drivers do it. I waited over 2 hrs 4 a shower did my laundry, still no shower available. Drivers get a shower reserved from there truck on the app. But there fat azz never makes it inside. There shower times out then another 6 do the same thing. Rare but some sneak there dog into the shower

I would be grabbing a hotel every chance I get if I were otr. I could see parking that beast of a truck in a hotel parking lot being a major pain though. I hear truck lyfe can be rough.

Well according to ThisGuyTrucks, if you ever see an empty water bottle in a stall do not touch it. But really, something like what HighStrung Vlogs used to put out would be sweet… with a Moto twist of course

Yeah it’s brutal physically it’s head to toe massive impacts. Front end pounds faster than a machine gun while the truck is bouncing at angles . It’s a lot more physical than running a 110 lb jack hammer after 2 hrs without a second off, me and a 6,4 Indian that fought on espn are only 3/4 inch deep in the concrete. Trucks from 70 to 07 r so much better hell a 1948 truck is even better. Hotel parking lot would b a breeze alot of places I go there is much less room. Laredo was ovr wt again ovr 40 calls and text. Broker in Laredo was cool he said I,m Mexican but the lady in Mexico is a real fing cunt she refuses to cut pallets on loads. She holds up the warehouse workers there upset other loads r missed and rescheduled etc. it’s over 100 degrees I hv to stand on the concrete because they won’t let drivers inside, wait 2.5 hrs for anyone to show up. Warehouse workers left at 3am that’s why they where late. Because this Mexican broker causes problems. I said it’s easy the next truck Mexico to here she sends cut that ld by 1 then she doesn’t hv to Oder another truck for 1 pallet. Over 80k the ld will b sitting at a scale out of service until she sends a truck with a forklift and another truck for 2 pallets that will cost at least 10k. This fight goes on all day to get reloaded. I even drew a picture of how it was loaded and how it needs to b loaded. The 31,600 will bump upto near 34k when doubles r added after the singles. And I was right 2nd reweigh showed that.
