That's a lot of dirt to push around! If that's your brothers work, well done. His tracks always flow well. Just needs to be 4 1/2 hours closer.

It looks a lot like the Sahara desert to me.

Will it be open on the week days that you are open? I'm assuming that today was the opening of that track.

Apparently the states that I've raced in are all smaller scenes so my existence has been sheltered, what the heck is "vet track" supposed to mean? I'm a vet and I jump stuff at my local track that a lot of the kids don't even jump. So is the idea that vet tracks are supposed to be easier? Smaller jumps? Have an Icy Hot dispenser built in on the starting line : ) ?

Just curious...

Most "vets" don't want to jump the big stuff. But good on you if you are up to for it. No need to be a tool about it though.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound cocky, honestly I don't consider myself fast by any stretch. I was actually trying to be funny. Anyway, I just think it's interesting that a safer track with smaller jumps would be defined as a "vet" track, because it also sounds like a good idea for beginners. Or do places that are big enough to have "vet" tracks also have specific beginner tracks?

Most of the tracks here in southern ca have "vet" tracks. There are a ton of folks that ride in these parts with all skill levels and with the amount of pro/a/b speed riders there needs to be a separation. The vet track provides decent safe fun obstacles without the pressure of speedy always on your ass making you nervous.

We also have pit bike/85 and beginner tracks at some of our local tracks also. Makes it kind of nice to have a variety at one place. Milestone I believe now has 5 tracks and the private Rockstar track out back.

Most vets have already jumped the big stuff when the bikes weren't as good. . Now they have stock in Gluecosamine and Advil.

Duly noted, we'll chalk it up to the medium. Yes, lots of tracks in Cali have vet and main tracks with the vet tracks having fewer jumps that have a big penalty if you screw them up.

very accurate statement. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with the anti-inflamatory addiction.

Wish this idea (dedicated vet tracks) would make its way down here.

I'll get a gopro video of it tomorrow boys.

Okay I'll get one tomorrow (Tuesday) for sure. All the vet tracks around here are basically beginner tracks. They just don't want to offend anyone.

that's a fairly true statement. at the same time there are tons of 30+ age riders that still haul the mail on any track and do all of the jumps....

they actually call this track the Intermediate track. the other "vet track" is still there too....

a buddy of mine took this yesterday
