I stopped by Red Bud this morning. Tim Ritchie took me around the facility in his Polaris Ranger and showed me improvements he's made to the facility. There are many changes to the infrastructure that really look good. For those attending only Saturday's race (or are staying someplace other than camping at the track) you can still use the west entrance off of Main Street, Gate D or take the new north entrance off of Red Bud at the far north end of the property, Gate C which will take you to Lot X which is for daily parking.
I just wanted to give you a heads up regarding the new entrance off of Red Bud to help avoid any confusion. I'll see you out there this weekend!!

Looking at the website, several changes made this year. Gate C appears to now be the main gate instead of A. Saturday only tickets are $60, do other nationals cost the same now?

Hangtown was supposed to be $55, but at the gate they were charging $60 if I recall correctly. Whatever the price was, I remember it was $5 more at the gate than advertised. Online price and gate price have always been the same in prior years. Inflation, aargghh

I used Gate D for the first time. I started attending back in 1977 and this was the best entrance of all my trips. However, the gate was actually $75 because you had to pay for parking.

So……I paid for parking twice? I had a pre-paid spot at the top of Thor’s Hammer and paid $75 each at the gate. Dang!

The workers were pretty screwed up all weekend, we almost got screwed a few times from different workers not knowing anything. We've been going there for a while and pretty much know their system, but for whatever reason this year was amateur hour all around

Leaving was a PIA though. It is every year, so it's nothing new, but it's mass chaos.
