Looks better, im glad that JS is helping with the design of the SX tracks as Reflex tracks are a bit of a let down. The sound of the engines are a lot better also.

You can tell its going to look good eventually but at this point I have to disagree. It looks like they motion captured Trey's air wheelies for the in air stuff. I'm just waiting to see a fender slap.

I'm sure we're going to love it once we get it. You can't make too many judgements on the game from just small clips like this. For sure they said that it's still in development so the riders are sitting all the time but that will change.

The hardest part is waiting to play it!

Looks like riders finally "hook" into ruts realistically. The style will get better with time, the game looks promising.

I've actually personally been working with the animators this week on the rider positioning. We've been so focused on making sure the vehicles ride like real bikes and ATVs, that the riders have just been along for the ride. Now that the vehicles are handling amazing, we are tuning up all the riders to make sure they are up to par.

I've actually personally been working with the animators this week on the rider positioning. I think they are coming out with a PC version with this one correct? Or was that untamed? i hope it's this one.

Well it sounds like they are rewarding riders for take out moves now. I heard him refer to cleaning people out 5-6 times in a couple minutes. I hope they didn't take the massive feedback about how it sucked to touch someone on Reflex and go flying 100ft through the air and turn it into people wanting a game to play crash up derby. That is not what we want at all. We just want to be able to realistically rub and make aggressive passes. It sounds like this could turn into a game where you have to clean people out to win. That would suck bad!

Um. Every description of the game is that the change is to lessen the effect of getting hit or hitting other riders. Dumbass players no longer have anything to gain by hitting other riders. Huge improvement.

If you want to take someone out, you can, but if you just want to rub or race close, you can do that too. You have to intentionally try to clean someone out to take them out. There is no more getting spun around backwards or constantly crashing from colliding with other players. Going into the first turn isn't a death wish crash up derby anymore either, it's actually really fun because you can really rub elbows with the other guys and fight for position.

As far as PC version, right now the plan is just for PS3 and 360; however, there was never a plan for Reflex to be on PC at launch either and it happened, so never say never.

Stealth Passing – Want to be able to sneak up on your opponents to pass them when they least expect it? Running the Stealth Passing Rider Skill allows you to give opponents a shorter warning time that you are close, so you can execute a sneaky pass around the inside.ide.[/i]e.

Just wondering what the deal is with this stuff, is the boost like the boost that was in Excitebike?? The Stealth thing on the other hand is just plain weird, are we using a radar?

Maybe you can unlock "bonuses" where your rider excells faster out of the gate or something. Like throughout the game you get better and faster. Not just maxed out right away.

The first person mode looks awesome, hope they focus on that and the other couple of glitches mentioned and it should be a big step forward.

Rider Skills are similar (as far as how much difference they make) to tuning your bike in Reflex. It will give you a slight edge, but won't be ridiculous and blow out the competition. They are earned unlocks, and only 2 can be equipped at once.

James is super human at scrubs - this gives us the ability to re-create that
Alessi (was) super human at starts - this gives us the ability to re-create that
etc. etc.

I've gotta say I'm not stoked at all about rider abilities. This isn't Call of Duty... We don't need perks. This is a racing game! Practice to get better, unlock parts that actually make a damn difference on your bike. Don't give me "stealth passing." Do these guys even think before they do this? Do you think anybody out there on the gate has "holeshot boost?!"

If you want the "pick one strength or another" thing to happen in your game, do it by making us purchase parts that have a bigger impact on high RPM hp or low RPM torque. Why is it always 2 steps forward and one step back with you guys? Why can't you just take two steps forward and just stay there?
