He's talking about riding with Reed?? I wonder if Reed knows anything about that lol. The Youtube caption calling him a motocross legend is also laughable.

And why does it bother you so much? Freedom of speech, Vurb and whoever can call him whatever they think suits him. He's apparently still relevant since you and other people are still talking about him. I enjoy his videos and photos. Keep on keepin' on.

The guy came all the way to Ohio last summer for a ride day for a fallen rider because he was the favorite rider of the guy who was killed in a car accident. Based on that he's ok in my book.

He's basically just a guy at a local race right here and it still becomes a topic on Vtial and people will still reply.

Whether you like someone or not doesn't change their status as a legend.

How can you argue he isnt legendary? No, he didnt win that much, but he is legendary in the mx community. My proof is that any thread mentioning him goes to 10 pages, cant say that about anyone else besides alessi and stewart...

I LOL at the people who hate on Jason. I see all these comments like "he looks floored on drugs" or "crack is a hell of a drug". hahahaha. He looks as sober as can be. Apparently you've never actually seen anyone on crack and are just regurgitating the common "cocaine is a hell of a drug" phrase. He seems pretty lucid to me. And why do you care so much about what he does in his personal life??? Smokes pot, you really think he is the only current pro level rider who does that? If you do you need to open your eyes. I know other people on this board like to drink, so if its the drug thing, you might want to look at your own ingestion of carcinogenic solvents before criticizing people who can probably ride circles around you safely while intoxicated.

Regardless of that, most of you hate him just because he's not your prototypical clean cut "role model for the sport" like Dungey or Canard. Because he supposedly has a bad influence on "the children" who are oh so precious and of course JLAW is a bad influence because he clearly doesn't care about what people think, but drinking beer or taking your kid to a bar/restaurant is totally positive haha. IMO how can you hate on someone who clearly just loves to ride dirt bikes? So what if he doesn't want to be villopoto or dungey, he just wants have fun riding, not burning himself out like Villo seems to have in American racing.

Not to mention he is a better rider than 99.9% of people on this board, so that right there kind of renders your criticisms meaningless.

I like the kid.
I love to watch him free-ride when he's feeling a little loose and throws his twisted-whip-scrubs.
Another thing, if anyone is gonna be "real" with him and tell him whether or not he's still got "it": that would be Chad.
