So there was 8" of rain up there, the dude basically has to work his AZZ off off just to be able to use a dozer in the mud holes, tries to get it reopened for the riders ...... then a bunch of snowflakes bitch and moan Tongue MX at it's finest. Maybe give him a little more time to WORK, before crying.

?Had a foot of snow also? They had to scrape off piles of mud just to work on the track and get it open. When they get the jump faces and landings close he will add clay to make them firm.
Everybody needs to take a step back and let it develop. It will never be a big jump track because of the State.
Safe for all levels.

Holy crap, $5 to ride and you guys are complaining? I'd pay $5 to ride a turn track in a grass field, from the pics it looks like nice dirt and decent jumps??

Don't know if anyone rode at Gorman in the mid eighties, but it was a lot different than now (like many things). The state control was way better. We would camp(eighties style), create turn tracks, build jumps (this involved shovels), and pretty much get totally out of control.
It was a better time.
I wouldn't bitch about $5, I'd throw a shovel instead.

Camped and rode there from 74 to 87 and it was good back then. Use to come in off Hungry Valley and head all the way to the creek at foot of Alamo. Jaw bone canyon too a few times late 70s. Great times!

I was still pretty young but yes the place had a lot less fencing. I remember there were some pretty good Hill climbs, riding snowy creek from Smith forks, the old houses, horse track, hundreds of gold dredgers battling in Piru, and a trip from there through Lockwood and over Mt Pinos to Mt Abel.

No big jumps but other than that it was great yesterday. Track prep was perfect!

It’s crazy, you can also buy a pass for $50 per year, unlimited . And that covers your whole car load. I’m going to check it out this week and give you an unbiased opinion.

Other than a few sketchy jumps since the track isn't maintained I'd say it's okay, but probably worth the entry fee and drive to go up...

When was the last time you rode a motorcycle, Devin?
