Glad to see they've taken the first step by simply getting the name on the track. Will be interesting to see how they choose to develop this brand moving forward. Will it truly be a more value oriented line? My only complaint is it's red. Not because I don't thin it looks good, but because you already have red Honda's. Not sure what other color they could have gone with though... grey with red accents maybe?

I think it looks great. Anyone who expected them to have Glenn ride anything less than a proven red KTM really is asking too much considering the takeover just happened months ago and GG had no proven mx platform. They had to do exactly what they did and if any of you owned the business i think you would do the same.

They'll be small changes down the line but obviously even doing this went right down to the wire.

Personally, im stoked to see a new brand on the track and a resurgence of an old brand on the trails. Sure, its just cosmetic right now but the deal just happened. If anyone expected them to build an all different mx bike in 6 months then they are just being unrealistic. For now, it has to proven and familiar for Glenn and Taddy to succeed on.
spot on... To expect a competitive factory team have a completely different bike ready to compete in just a couple months is unheard of.

Love seeing a new brand come into the sport. Well the revival of an old brand. The bikes actually look great too! Silver rims and that red steel frame. I like it.

In my opinion, Honda now has more competition. People that like the color red, might choose this first. Also Honda doesn’t make 2 strokes but Gas Gas does soooo. There’s that too.

I heard the 2-strokes are a sub-brand called GasOil.

A red ktm. I bet it will sell like hot cakes. Not everybody like the orange color.
This was a genius move by KTM. They for sure took some wind out of Honda's sails by going red. As you mentioned there are a lot of people who don't love orange and would much rather have a red KTM.

"Ride Red" is no longer an exclusive Honda thing...fricking Genius move by KTM. Now I have to choose between the new Honda and GasGas...

Definitely a little surprised that the plastics are just red KTM plastics. Don’t think anyone expected a whole different bike in the short time but surely they could have designed new plastics in a few months? No idea how long that would take so excuse my ignorance if it wasn’t possible.

Either way I’m hoping Coldenhoff will kill it this year, definitely a positive for him to be on the same bike (for the most part) as last year.

Red.
Black wheels make bike look so much better. Even red would been better than silver.

At least they haven't screwed up the sideplates yet. Not sold on the GasGas logo but it might suit the Supreme crowd

Would have been great to see this bike with GasGas' previously used KYB SSS suspension - would have been a slam dunk for best bike! Also, just to mix it up and separate it from the KTM, why not try a cable clutch?

An injection mold for plastic components in the Automotive industry is around 25 weeks. I don't know how much this deal has been in the works.

From a pure aesthetic point of view, I kinda still prefer the look of the KTM over the GG...but barely..I like orange. But I like the GasGas way more than the Husqvarna and I like how they proudly display the name of the bike instead of hide it like KTM has done lately. I also prefer orange and black KTMs over the Factory blue. The Husqvarna...Just not a fan of white and black bikes.

Maverick, those are some sweet pics. Even the naysayers have to admit, that is a sweet looking machine.

And I vote silver.

Other than the headlight/tailight that will be on the EC enduro ranges, I wonder if they'll be any other cosmetic differences. Hoping the EC range looks a little more like Laia's Dakar machine. Can't wait to see the EC300!

It will make it interesting come 21 when I look at a 300. I always lean towards and have KTM 300s (XC-W TPI) but also got the Sherco Factory Edition 300 which is a beauty. But I love my 17 GG EC300 so wouldn't rule out a "new" one of those.

Nice to have some choices, especially in 300cc hard enduro range of bikes. None of the Japanese manufacturers care about my discipline with the exception...sorta...of Yamaha. So glad to have another choice in the new GG. Sure 3 of them are similar but they all have their own unique look and then add in Sherco and Beta, though the Beta is bringing up the rear on this list, imo.

I wonder how they will market the GasGas brand when Husqvarna is aiming for the vets/easier to ride bikes and KTM being the more hardcore motocross brand. I really like the looks of the bike!

I would say it’s gonna be a more “price friendly” bike. But what do I know
