The Fox Geico guys were wearing a different chest protector...

Product testing?

Looks like a Leatt extension.

Is it really neccessary to put the most annoying music in the history of mankind on these video clips? With the volume turned all the way up?

Yeah I couldn't agree more - especially when it drowns out the actual motor noise on some vids.

more like a new roost-deflector. I don't think any AMA pro is using a proper chest/thorax protector with the real proper foam (or air) needed. They wouldn't look good and fast Wink

Oh screw yerself assclown. I produce more TRULY loud music and have more money invested in serious audio gear than you have a clue about. But theres a time & place for loud music and its not when Im sitting at my PC thinking Im clicking on something about motocross and I get blasted at top volume. Its fucking annoying and thats my 2 cents about that.

That chest protector looks good, it is pretty similar to the new TLD Bodyguard lite which i just recently purchased, works with LEatt also and i like it, cant complain.

Fox just copied my three year old strap design. The economy sucks so they can send me product instead of a royalty check. Wink

it's pretty cool and really adjustable. can be worn underneath or on the outside. kinda bulky for under the jersey though.

That swap video was great. Love it. Really liked the part with Reed and Dungey packing the starting line and he's playing the funny music. Hilarious.

Yes it's part of the 2011 line. Looks a lot like the Thor Sentinal. Its called the ProFrame LC. It comes in S/M or L/XL. Colors are Vortex, Black or Black/Green. Works with with Leatt, tons of adjustment and great fit.

Cool
My son sure loves his RXR, but it seems like every time we go out there's another hole to patch up. I think there are 5 patches on the front bladder, and 1 on the back bladder.

How hot is that RXR?Seems like it would be like an oven.

And to those of you who are fox dealers what do you think of the 2011 gear?Theres a few sets that I like but theres alot of them where I think were never going to sell any of it.Steel Faith platinum gear comes to mind.

What kind of RXR is he running? Is it the Kids Model? Thats tho only one I've ever heard of that happening too, but not that often.

I've been running them since '07 and never had one leak from a crash or otherwise. How old are the bladders in his? I believe it was suggested that the bladders be changed after a year... although my RXR I ran in '07 still inflates...

To be honest I've worn them so long now I don't really notice much a difference when riding so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

I will say if your sitting around in staging, directly in the sun,.... they can get hot... but you don't crash much in staging so you don't really have to have it on at that point

I've worn an RXR the last 3 years and we sold a bunch of them for RiderDown as well (still have a couple available cheap if anyone wants 'em). Personally, I never felt the heat was all that bad. With the velcro closures it's pretty easy to loosen up when you're sitting.

However...I won't be wearing one ever again. The side protection is lacking (agreed that a lot of CP's don't offer much here) and I've busted my ribs a couple times now wearing it. But my biggest reason for not wanting to wear it anymore is that when it hits the ground it just sticks. No sliding or deflecting of energy like you get with a plastic shell. The last time I crashed in it (Baja this spring) was brutal - I stuck to the ground where I hit like a squished bug on a windshield and my my body absorbed all that energy with bad results. I'm only guessing here but I believe that had I been wearing a traditional hard plastic protector I would have slid a bit on the dirt and deflected some of the energy from the impact. Again just my opinion after trying to analyze what happened. BTW - busted the Leatt & retired the Troy Lee SE lid after this one also.

It's an adult small or medium. I don't know how old it is, but maybe that's the issue. I haven't seen anything on the RXR website about replacing them due to age, but he'll get leaks for no apparent reason, no crash necessary. I'll have to look into that possibility.
