Whether it's a motorcycle or bicycle it looks like a lot of fun. Just needs a chain guide/guard to keep fingers intact.

Looks similar to the Sur Ron (Luna Cycles in Santa Monica)

No pedals - I'm calling it a motorcycle....

E-Scooter. No fenders. No numberplates. No full size forks. Tires smaller than a fat tire bicycle. It's a mountain bike coming out of the closet and having gender reassignment surgery by removing the pedals.

It's obviously a motorcycle and that is a ridiculously absurd question in the first place. Many early motorcycles had pedals too Gordon.

It's more of a motorcycle than a motorcycle because it actually has an electric motor. That's one thing my 250sx does not have.

I went to CES this year and segway had a similar thing. I ride mtb and it was pretty cool to swing a leg over it. Definitely felt more like something to take to the bike park vs a rough mx track. They were actually planning to do demos of these but the shipping container got lost or something.

Guess we can look forward to them getting cheaper. Because that is what happens to electronics. 2 years from now they should have one on the market like this for $2000 🙏

I have one of the surron bikes. Same thing as the segway x260 not the 160 pictured, just different branding. It is a lot of fun not a mx bike but still good fun.

I don't know much about these kind of bikes , but they sure do look like a lot of fun. But 9k ? There is just no way I would pay that. I see some people around here zipping around on bikes similar to these , and I was surprised at just how quick they are. They can get from point A to point B really quick , and in something like down town , I don't think anything could get across town as quick as they do. I also met an older couple at the beach that had matching bikes like this. The guy said he could get 70 miles out of his bike before he needed to recharge. Him and his wife were camped like 15 miles away , just exploring on them.........I couldn't help but think " Man , that is pretty badass! "

Looks cool as hell, price is a bit high and run/charge time is still a bit off of what would make me seriously consider it. If I had the money I'd just buy 2. I posted a little while back in a thread, that if someone made a beefed up mountain bike with about 20 hp in the neighborhood of 100 pounds, that sounded like a crazy amount of fun to me.

There have been plenty of threads on mountain bike forums over the years complaining about prices. And the question always gets asked about why high end mountain bikes cost as much or more than an mx bike.
