No worries, I just didn’t see weight as an issue when I was looking at helmets. I thought the top helmets were all around 3 pounds. I heard the new Shoei is heavy but I didn’t feel it when I tried it on either.

I don't think it is physically smaller however it has a better look. I've been using mine since mid summer and the fit and finish is awesome, no complaints. It fits as well as my Arai and the construction appears and feels top notch.

They are larger than most other helmets, but not heavy.

Its a bit lighter and streamlined angle wise with the design, some added air vents, but having both, I can barely tell the difference between the two.

If it fits similar to your arai than that is great news for me. Arai is one of those helmets that fits my head really well.
Really need to go try them on at my local shop?

Not as light as the new Alpinestars helmet but I was suprised to see it weighs less than my Arai.
