Well the '16 RMZ250 engine " looks" the same as the '13-'15. But internally there were 88 changes done to the motor.

Honestly it looks incredible. As a Vet rider I would love to see electric start but it doesn't look like thats going to happen. I bet its still going to be awesome.

I agree!. Great looking bike.

If it has the handling traits of the prior ones, thinner, lighter, and a bit more power it should be a home run for them.

Can get this kit for any RM-Z. Doubt it will be on the production bike.

Suzuki has updated the motor a few times since '08 and the frame i think in '12. If they wouldve changed the bodywork on the bike when they updated the frame there wouldnt be as many people complaining that the bike has been unchanged since '08 IMO. Shoot the 450 outdoor championship was just won on a private team in '16, its not a bad bike at all. Its a great bike as is right now. I doubt i would be any faster on a '17 rmz450 then i would be on a '17 crf 450 or ktm. Just pick a color you like and buy that bike lol theyre all good.

That's the same magura clutch you can buy aftermarket for pretty much any bike I doubt they come with it stock for 2018. I'm already sold on one I think they look badass.

Electric start, drop some weight, add a few more horses, and keep the zook cornering and we have a winner. Their bikes have barely changed over the years and their still competitive, theyre doing something right. Its time for a new generation and this looks amazing. They just really need to hop on the electric start bandwagon and shave some pounds and these will sell like hot cakes. This new bike is already one of the better looking bikes out and its not even out yet. They definitely know how to design a good looking bike.

That bike flat out rips once you put a full on Yosh system on it. It comes neutered from the factory. It's the only bike to come in at under the db limit. That bike is a completely different animal with an exhaust system and going to a 50 tooth rear sprocket...and the new engine is designed for major hop up without affecting the reliability. Shootouts mean f#$% all in the real world, and if you base your purchase based solely on that you're a dumbass.

Seewer's RMZ250 seems to be a ripper. I cant believe how fast that bike looks.

Well, given I've bought 5 Suzukis over the last few years this means I am not a dumbass right? I've still got two in my garage, and I am not going to kid myself that any of them were fast or light compared to similar bikes in class, even after putting a yosh pipe on.

I thought the same think until i sold my yz450 and bought a ktm450. Confidence has gone through the roof, and as a result so has speed. No more front wheel washing.

Point of order. Last season, Suzuki listed both Yoshimura and RCH as factory teams. RCH wasn't "private," and those two operations subsequently merged.

This year Suzuki lists RCH/Yoshimura as factory and JGR as a "support team."

I just realized looking back that when I was building my RM125 in 2012 that I somehow managed to eff up my "trim" job (aka hackjob) on my side plates enough that they closely resemble the new body style.
