Very cool, wish I could make it Saturday. I’ll be racing Sunday though!

#90 in the old photo has raced from around age 15 into his 60s every year, barring injury. How many can say that? NESC, Nationals, and the Florida winter series. Also honored at the heroes and legends at the meadowlands.

Raced against Dave/Charlie/Jimmy in the 1974 North vs. South Match Races at Waterboro & Southwick. We also raced at Ossippee.

Great trip and what a head rush for a 14 year old to get to race at Southwick on July 4th, 1974 in front of a huge crowd.

And the NESC guys kicked our ass thoroughly that year.

Yes that's Dave. He's still racing and he's also the president of NESC. Without a doubt one the nicest guys that you'll ever meet.

+1

Wonder how many mx racers have come and gone since Dave started racing. Thousands in New England alone I’d say.

Dave is a great guy, I raced him in the vets class for years,He beat me most of the time.
I raced the NESC for 28 years from 1977 to 2005 and Dave was racing before me and long after me.
Imagine how many gate drops he has seen.

I'm going to try to make it Saturday,It will be cool to catch up with some guys I haven't seen in years.
